         Beaupre Apiary is a small business that is working hard to restore vitality to the Honey Bees. Maintaining the colonies takes a lot of hard work, thick skin, and resources. We envite the community to help support the bees through donations to the apiary. We have started this company from our own funds, with no loans. We are inviting members of the community to make a donation, of any size, to help support our work with the bees. At this point, you donations will not be tax deductable, however we offer honey ee products and gifts in return for your donation. Your help can aid us in expanding the apiary. Below is a list of goals we hope to reach in the comming years.

 With your assistance, we can make a big difference!

 

1) Expansion of our Colonies- It is our hope to expand the number of colonies we have sustainably. This includes aquiring more bees, more boxes, frames, and stands.

 

2)Alternative Beehives- We are working hard to develop alternative styles of beehives, including top bar hives and hex hives. These unique designs are currently be reviewed as more sustainable, more natural, and HoneyBee friendly.

 

3) Securing a Farm - Currently, we rely on community members to house a number of our colonies. It is our goal to secure a farm in the local area where we can really expand the sanctuary. By re-locating the farm, we aim to give the bees a beautiful and pristine environment to live. A farm would also add to our ability to make more honey bee products like candles, salve, lip balm, propolis products and much more! 

 

4) Purchasing a Farm Vehicle- We really need a larger farm vehichle to service the hives. Our hope is to attain an eco friendly truck to move our equipment. A new vehichle would allow us to continue our work in a more efficient manner then we do currently.

 

5) Seeds and crops- By planting honeybee friendly seeds and crops, we can add to the nutritional diversity for the bees. Bees need a unique and diverse selection of food to ensure proper nutrition. Crops like buckwheat, red clover, bee bee, paw paw and more are excellent sources of nutritive food for the bees...remember we do not feed out bees sugar water!

 

6) Product Development- Developing a consistant supply of honey bee products helps to support the bees...Every product we sell helps the bees. By developing a consistent line of products, we can help to ensure a steady flow of income that supports our magical honey bees!

  $201-$300............all of the above, plus 50% of the honey from your Honor hive

 

  $301-500.............. all of the above, plus 100% of honey from your Honor hive

 

  $501-$1000..........All of the above, plus 100% of all honey from second Honor hive.

 

$1001-$5000.......Allof the above, plus personal tour of our apiary, and your own  honey harvest experience!
